Sealed Dust-Proof High-Speed Engraving for Graphite Electrodes and Industrial Ceramics

HSEM WWI-SM600 / SM-650 / SM-870 / SM-1311 are high-speed CNC engraving and milling machines dedicated to graphite electrodes and precision industrial ceramics. In the graphite setup, the whole work area is sealed against dust and paired with a dust filter, so conductive graphite powder stays contained during long milling runs. In the ceramic setup, the priority is a rigid frame plus high spindle speed, with dust control, acid and corrosion resistance, and resistance to edge chipping — the points that decide whether a ceramic part comes out clean or scrapped.

  • High-speed precision engraving and milling for curved surfaces, with strong high-gloss results
  • Suits molds, fixtures and precision parts, not just flat plate work
  • Four models: X travel 600–1300 mm, table from 600×500 up to 1350×1000 mm

Highlights
Key Advantages
  • Sealed dust-proof housing and dust filter keep graphite powder off the ways and screws, so accuracy holds up over long shifts instead of drifting.
  • BT30 spindle running at 24000 rpm with a 5.5/7.5 kW motor — enough speed for small tools and fine electrode detail without stalling.
  • Rigid frame tuned for industrial ceramics: less vibration at the cut, fewer chipped edges and better density control on the finished part.
  • Curved-surface engraving with high-gloss output, aimed at mold inserts and fixtures where surface quality is checked visually.
  • Tool magazine holds 12–16 tools, so roughing, semi-finishing and finishing can run in one setup.
  • Four sizes from SM-600 to SM-1311 — pick the envelope that fits your largest electrode or ceramic part rather than oversizing.

FAQ
FAQ
How do I choose between SM-600, SM-650, SM-870 and SM-1311?
Size it from the part, not the price list. X travel runs 600 to 1300 mm, Y 500 to 1000 mm, Z 260 to 500 mm, and tables go from 600×500 to 1350×1000 mm. Check your largest electrode or ceramic blank, add clamping space, then pick the model that leaves a little margin.
Can one machine handle both graphite and ceramics?
They are built in two configurations. Graphite machines centre on sealed dust-proof construction and dust filtration; ceramic machines centre on rigidity, dust control, acid/corrosion resistance and chip resistance at the edge. Tell us the material you run most and we will point you to the right build — mixing both on one machine is possible but the configuration leans one way.
What spindle and tooling does the machine use?
BT30 spindle, 24000 rpm, 5.5/7.5 kW spindle motor across the range. The tool magazine takes 12–16 tools, which covers roughing through finishing on both graphite and ceramic work.
What is the typical delivery lead time?
It depends on model, configuration and quantity. Standard builds usually sit inside a short production window, but schedules move — confirm the current lead time with our sales team before you commit to a project date.
How is quality ensured for precision ceramic and graphite parts?
Rigidity, spindle speed and precise engraving control do part of the job; sealed dust protection keeps that accuracy from degrading. The rest comes from tooling, clamping and cutting parameters. We help with selection and commissioning so you can reach stable high-gloss finishes and clean edges in production, not just on the first part.
