WWI-CT64-21 Controlled Drawer Cabinet

One Drawer, One Lock: Tool Control That Holds Up on the Shop Floor

The WWI-CT64-21 is a controlled drawer cabinet built for shops that need to know who took which cutter, and when. The spring channels and compartments are one integrated unit rather than a tray dropped into a shell, so every drawer opens and locks on its own.

The cabinet measures 800×870×1800mm including the feet and weighs 1200KG, which keeps it stable when drawers are pulled out under load. Each drawer is split into 13 compartments at standard size, and the dividers move to fit what you actually stock.

What it manages: blades, milling cutters, drill bits, taps, small parts. One cabinet covers many varieties and many pieces of each.

Access is by card swipe, with facial recognition as an option. Cabinets network together with no cap on how many you add, and the system talks to your existing software for work order collection. Standard color is orange and white; other colors on request.

Highlights
Key Advantages
  • Each drawer locks and releases on its own, so a tool issue doesn't unlock the whole cabinet
  • Spring channel and compartment are one molded piece, which keeps small cutters and drills from sliding under the dividers
  • 13 compartments per drawer at standard size, repositionable to match mixed cutter and tap inventories
  • Card swipe ships as standard; facial recognition can be added at order time
  • Multiple cabinets run as one network with no expansion limit, so a second or third unit joins the same system
  • Work order collection ties each withdrawal to a job number instead of a paper log
Use Cases
Applications
  • Machining shops that issue milling cutters and drill bits by work order instead of by shift
  • Assembly lines storing taps and small fasteners where a missing piece stops the line
  • Tool cribs replacing sign-out sheets with card or facial recognition records
  • Plants running high-value consumables where usage per job needs a traceable trail
  • Factories connecting storage to MES or ERP so material data lands in the same system as production

FAQ
FAQ
Do all drawers open at once, or one at a time?
Each drawer is controlled separately. A user authenticated for one drawer doesn't get access to the rest, which is the point of the CT64 design.
Can the 13 compartments be resized?
Yes. Standard size is the starting layout, but the dividers adjust so a drawer can hold long milling cutters in one row and short drill bits in another.
Card swipe or facial recognition — which should we pick?
Card swipe is standard and works well where staff already carry ID badges. Facial recognition suits shops with high turnover or shared cards, since there's nothing to hand over. Both can run on the same cabinet.
How does the cabinet connect to our ERP or MES?
It supports system integration and work order collection, so withdrawal records can feed into your existing management software. Send us your system details and we'll confirm the interface before you order.
What's the lead time?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks, depending on configuration and order quantity. Exact dates come with the quote.
Can we add cabinets later without replacing the first one?
Yes. Expansion has no fixed limit, so additional units join the existing network rather than running as a separate system.
